What to await today
For months now, we've been hearing about a refresh for the four-inch iPhone — dubbed the iPhone 5se. Some rumors indicate towards this device targeting roughly the same specs as an iPhone half-dozen — an 18-month-old device. But considering that the xxx-calendar month-sometime iPhone 5s is still being sold every bit the 4-inch offering, that'll exist a nice jump forward for those of us who prefer the smaller class factor.
The 9.vii-inch iPad didn't get whatever dear last year, so it's prophylactic to assume that we'll see a new release at that place every bit well. Some people are assuming that we'll see the iPad Pro's keyboard and stylus piece of work their way down-market, but information technology's possible that this will just exist a straightforward spec bump. To me, it seems similar a coin flip.
It's been nearly a yr since the Apple tree Sentry first launched, so Cupertino might exist ready to iterate on the concept. After all, the original version didn't exactly knock information technology out of the park. At the very least, we should expect to see more accessories brand their way to the Apple tree Store. That'southward where the existent money is.
None of Apple's Mac hardware seems to be in dire need of a major redesign, so nosotros'll probably only see some speed boosts here and in that location. And if that's the case, Apple might just upgrade it silently. It wouldn't be the first fourth dimension that the Mac got kicked off the main phase in favor of iOS devices.
